Guns of Plavnik

Guns of Plavnik is the cannon wreck of a sailing vessel that local dive centres date to the late 18th or early 19th century. Dive Center Krk thinks it was a brig schooner from the time of the Napoleonic campaigns, carrying steel cannons that never reached their destination. The hull has almost completely disappeared, but around 14 cannons lie fused together in blocks, and a few traces of the bow and planking can still be made out. Correct Diving describes the guns as lying as if they still guarded the island against attack from the sea. Fun Diving Krk reports occasional seahorses and conger eels around the remains.
