Lynx was run aground at Stavenes after the air attack in an attempt to save her, but she slipped off during the salvage work and sank quickly, after which salvage was given up. The wreck lies upright against the rock wall, with damage to the stern section but otherwise in good condition according to Dykkepedia. At 90 to 100 m it is the deepest wreck named among those Gulen Dive Resort offers and needs trimix. The steamer Tyrifjord was hit in the same attack.
