A short walk down a rocky path in Cape Greco National Forest Park leads to two entry points with drops of about 1.5 and 3 m. Underwater the route passes lava rock and a formation said to look like the outline of Cyprus before entering a series of through-caves and tunnels that all have an exit and enough daylight to make a torch unnecessary. Air escaping from the tunnels makes the rocks appear to breathe, and the classic finish is a hidden cave whose blow hole lets divers surface inside the rock. Bearded fireworms, ornate wrasse, groupers, octopus, moray eels and turtles live in the crevices, and the light in the caves makes the site popular with photographers.
