Tiger Rock

Tiger Rock is a small group of seamounts and pinnacles off the Kusapin peninsula near Punta Valiente, roughly 40 km from Isla Colon. The tip breaks the surface, and the walls and slopes drop past 40 m into the open ocean. Clear water brings schools of jacks, blacktip and nurse sharks, groupers, large parrotfish, manta rays and on rare occasions hammerheads, tiger sharks or sunfish. Strong currents and rough entries make it a site for experienced divers only. Trips run as full days, mainly in September and October when the sea is calm.
