Tiki
Tiki sits at the north-western corner of Moorea, about ten minutes by boat from the pass and close to the ocean slope. The name comes from a submerged stone tiki around which sharks used to gather. Local operators describe grey reef sharks, blacktip reef sharks and large lemon sharks, together with barracudas, turtles and schools of yellowtail snappers. Visibility is usually very good. Access depends on the weather, so the site is only dived when the sea is calm enough.
