Below the romantic lighthouse the seabed descends in terraces from the shallow reef into deep water. The rocky bottom is rich in fish and other marine life, and lobsters, conger eels and scorpionfish are commonly seen. Starfish runs a shallower dive here for all levels, while Morski Puz and Rovinj Sub describe the deep part as one of the most difficult dives of the area. Strong currents and the shipping lane are the reasons they offer it only to experienced divers.
