Irenehoeve
Also known as: Stavenisse Irenehoeve
One of four Oosterschelde sites at Stavenisse on Tholen, next to the Irenehoeve camping. A neat stair gives easy entry, and the bottom first slopes gently and then steeply down towards the buoy.
Divers park next to the camping, cross the dike by stair and enter from another stair at the water. At low water a jetty shows on the left, a good structure to dive around. Because fewer divers come here, the reef and bottom are relatively untouched and fish and growth are rich. The site lies close to a busy fairway, so it is dived only at low water and with an offshore wind.
