Osaki Minokasago Palace
Also known as: 大崎ミノカサゴ宮殿 (Japanese) · Osaki Lion Fish Palace · Osaki Minocasago Palace
Dense schools of cardinalfish and glassy sweepers cover the heads, and ten or more lionfish, at times over twenty, gather to feed on them. The shallow shelf has swarms of anthias, while the sand around the heads holds hundreds of garden eels, jawfish and several popular gobies. Cleaner shrimps hide in the crevices of the heads, and batfish and fusiliers pass in midwater. Pelagic fish use the area as a route, and mantas sometimes pass in winter.
