Nakanokami Higashi no Ne

Also known as: 仲ノ神島・東の根 (Korean) · 仲ノ御神島 東の根 (Japanese) · 仲の神島東の根 (Japanese) · Higashi-no-ne · Eastern Root

The island itself is a protected natural monument where landing is forbidden, but its waters can be dived. The pinnacle stands like a high-rise building, and divers descend quickly, hold on to the rock and wait for the fish. Schools of dogtooth tuna, giant trevally, bigeye trevally, rainbow runners and barracuda pass in the current, and whale sharks and hammerheads have been seen. Trips depend on sea conditions and on the divers' skills.
