Elkin's Bay

The site lies in the north-west of the atoll, a leeward area that operators use when easterly winds make the east side rough. Its feature is a short tunnel about 2 m wide. Divers follow a sand chute in towards the wall at about 18 m and find the entrance next to a coral head at about 12 m. The tunnel comes out on the reef flat, where the dive continues among colourful reef fish such as parrotfish, porkfish and angelfish.
