El Porís

Also known as: El Poris Bay

A staircase leads to a semi-submerged platform, and the dive first crosses a shallow seagrass meadow where green turtles, flying gurnards and schools of fish feed. Beyond it a natural wall drops deeper, with cracks and small caves holding octopus, moray eels, arrow crabs and nudibranchs. Several statues, including one of the Virgin Mary, stand along the wall. Barracuda and, in winter, angel sharks are also seen. Its orientation makes it diveable on many days when other sites are not.
