Mr Whippy
The site takes its name from the sea whips that cover the whole boulder, many of them thick with jewel anemones. Big finger sponges nearby carry basket stars. Butterfly perch, boarfish, banded morwong, old wives, trumpeter and gurnards usually gather around the rock. It marks one end of the Rose Garden, which stretches from here to the Canyon.
