Kandooma Caves

About 50 metres from the corner two big caves lie close together, one at about 20 metres with a hole in its roof, the other at about 16 metres and about 70 metres long. Further inside the channel there are overhangs and more caves, one opening near the reef top. The cave walls carry yellow sponges, small tube corals, sea fans and soft corals, and giant moray eels live inside, so a torch is recommended. Along the reef clown triggerfish, Napoleon wrasse, sweetlips, angelfish and green turtles are seen.
