Tombant St Etienne

Also known as: St Etienne Drop-Off

The Tombant St Etienne lies on the outer reef off Taapuna in Punaauia, and Wannadive uses the Saint Etienne church as the landmark to find it. Tahiti Tourisme describes a series of vertical walls for experienced divers, home to turtles, Napoleon wrasse, soles, red snappers and many tropical fish. Wannadive points to attractive coral structures at about 15 m. The wall drops to around 60 m, and a drift along it can continue to the Saint Etienne rift.
