Zauner Hallstatt-Lahn
Also known as: Zauner · Hallstätter Tauchbasis Lahn
The entry at Hallstatt-Lahn is the slipway of the former Zauner dive base; cars park at the public car park about 150 m away. Straight down from the slipway lie the remains of the excursion ship Kronprinz Rudolf. To the right, past the boathouses at about 10 m, rests the old Hallstatt 'Salzmutzen', a large wooden river boat that once carried salt along the Traun and Danube. The tourism board also mentions underwater trees and an underwater altar with a Madonna. Pike, trout and burbot hunt minnows, perch and roach here.
