Unterwasserwald Kammer

Also known as: Unterwasserwald

This is one of the best-known sites of the lake: a submerged forest of large trunks lying crossed in soft mud or reaching up into open water. The deeper part sits between 20 and 30 m, and trees continue up to about 10 to 13 m, some still upright and getting smaller towards the top. The dive base route swims on the surface to the outer buoy and descends its chain, which is anchored at 21 m. The return runs on a compass course back to shore and along the 5 m line to the exit. The shallow zone is thickly overgrown, and a diver reported pike, perch and eels.
