The second dive zone of the Vorderer Gosausee lies on the eastern shore, left of the lake when facing it, in the Bärntal. It stretches from the boat huts to the Bärnkogel, a rock face that continues below the surface. The site can only be reached by a walk of about 350 m. On days with many swimmers, divers are asked to use mainly dive zone 1.
