German Wall

The wall is part of the long drop-off along Ngemelis Island and falls away from a reef top that is exposed at extreme low tides. Dives start from one of two buoys depending on the current and usually drift along the face at mid depths. Sea fans, leather corals and soft corals cover the wall, while pyramid butterflyfish and anthias feed close to it. Grey reef, whitetip and occasional leopard sharks patrol the drop-off, and angelfish and clownfish live on the reef top.
