Pierre du Préfet

Pierre du Préfet faces the old house of a former prefect of Réunion, off the beach of L'Ermitage. Rock formations spread over white sand and give divers a wide area to explore. Turtles, batfish, barracuda and octopus are seen often, together with the small colourful reef fish of the Indian Ocean. Its moderate depth makes it a common site for first-level training.
