Maharani
Also known as: Maharani - Boucan
Maharani lies off Boucan Canot beach and stays between 3 and 15 m. A coral-covered drop-off overhangs a bright white sandy bottom and is full of faults and small caves with striking light effects. The plateau at about 6 m is especially rich, with schools of catfish and convict surgeonfish, clown triggerfish, carpet groupers and emperor angelfish. Le Dodo Palmé has also watched trevally hunting black surgeonfish here. From Maharani divers can continue to the nearby Petit Jardin and Piscine de Boucan.
