Turtle Bay
The bay lies beside the turtle nesting beach at Chagar Hutang, where the SEATRU programme has its field station and visitors may not land. Underwater it is calm and shallow, rarely deeper than about 5 m, which makes it good for snorkelling. Turtles are the main reason to come. Divers on Tanjung Tokong often keep the reef on their left and swim into the bay to finish among colourful hard and soft corals.
