Terumbu Kuning
Also known as: Yellow Reef
The yellow-coloured black coral trees that grow thickly towards the bottom of the reef, along with crowds of yellow butterflyfish, give the site its name. Depths run from about 10 m to the mid-20s. Dive Malaysia describes it as a drift dive because of the currents, and notes that this can sometimes be tricky. Nurse sharks, batfish and schools of jacks and snappers are common, and hingeback shrimps, lobsters, pipefish and juvenile sharks reward a closer look. It is a good site for photography.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
