Pulau Kerengga

Also known as: Pulau Kerengga Besar · Kerengga

Pulau Kerengga Besar and Kerengga Kecil are surrounded by a wide area of shallow reef that suits snorkellers and new divers. The richest hard and soft coral garden lies between the two islands. The sandy bottom around them holds many stingrays and a few sharks, so redang.org calls it 'ray city'. Humphead parrotfish, snappers, tuna, jacks and trevally visit the reef, and night dives reveal many kinds of shrimps and crabs. Uneven terrain at Kerengga Besar adds caves and crevices.
