Albatros Wreck
Also known as: Albatros · Naufragio Albatros · Buque pesquero Albatros
The Albatros was scuttled on purpose to create a site for recreational diving and became an artificial reef in the middle of a vast sand plain. It sits on the sand leaning slightly to port. Over the years the hull has been covered by bivalves, sea squirts, sponges and anemones, and lobsters, crabs, sea spiders, groupers and large salmon live around it. Aquatours and the San Juan Bosco university agreed to study how marine life colonises the wreck.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
