Dragone
Also known as: Dragon Rock
Divers can either follow the mooring line straight to about 30 to 40 m or start shallower in a corner of the promontory. There a vertical passage formed by a large block leaning against the wall runs from about 10 m down to 23 m, open only to cavern-trained divers. The walls between 25 and 40 m carry red coral and gorgonians, and offshore boulders at about 40 m are draped in red gorgonian fans where small-spotted catsharks rest. Higher up, a horizontal crack with an overhang at 9 to 15 m is covered in yellow sea daisies and cup corals. Dusky groupers, dentex, brown meagre and barracuda gather at the rockfall at the end of the wall.
