Taravana Cave
Also known as: Teravana Cave
The main entrance is huge, with its top at about 15 m and a white sandy floor at about 32 m, and a smaller second opening at 26 m. Beyond the entrance a long tunnel soon becomes completely dark, so powerful lights, a backup and a compass are needed. The walls outside the cave carry fans, sponges and other filter feeders and are a good place to look for unusual nudibranchs and splendid perch. Seafriends stresses that the cave is not for beginners.
