Secca di Levante
The shoal is so large that many different dives can be planned on it. Its east and north-east faces form a long wall full of small holes, cracks and dens, while huge rock formations on the sand below create endless crevices. Big open-water fish such as barracuda pass by, along with large dusky and golden groupers, amberjack and dentex. Sandbar sharks are sometimes seen here in summer, as at Lampione. Currents can be strong.
