Capo Grecale
On the northern route a tall vertical wall continues past 50 m, so guides usually limit the dive to about 30 m, where big groupers and dentex gather. Ledges and crevices lead down to white sand, and dusky, golden and black groupers, amberjack, brown meagre, lobsters and moray eels are likely. The southern route moors on boulders at about 12 m and descends to around 18 m, where an old fish-farm cage has become a home for moray eels, octopus and conger eels. Its mix of ledges, sand tongues and seagrass allows both beginner and advanced profiles. Fin whales can be seen from Capo Grecale in March and April.
