The Stage

The overhang formed where the roof of a cave collapsed, leaving a skylight that throws a spotlight onto passing divers at the right time of day. It shares its entry and exit with the Amphitheatre and follows the coastline past gullies, a letterbox swim-through and a large seagrass area. Turtles feed in the seagrass between June and November. Wrasse, bass, bream, blennies and sea cucumbers are common, with occasional loggerhead and green turtles and, rarely, seals and stingrays.
