Okobe Thila
Also known as: Okkobe Thila
The tops of the three coral heads start at about 10 to 12 m and slope to 25 m and more, and with a suitable current divers zigzag from one head to the next. Soft corals and sponges cover the reef, and its windows, overhangs and small caves hide squirrelfish, soldierfish, morays, groupers and a group of oriental sweetlips. Swarms of anthias and hundreds of bannerfish hang off the edge, while barracuda, tuna, eagle rays and Napoleon wrasse patrol around the thila. Divers usually descend a line to the reef, and Euro-Divers recommends a torch for the overhangs.
