Surprise Reef

Also known as: Surprise

Surprise Reef is a shallow reef that operators use for beginners and certification dives. Coral, sponges, sea fans and gorgonians cover the reef between sand patches and crevices. A few small caverns and swim-throughs give nurse sharks and green turtles places to rest. Moray eels, lobsters, shrimp and many tropical fish complete the picture. The maximum depth is about 15 m.
