Plane Wreck

Also known as: Sunken Plane · The Wreck

The fuselage and wings of a DC-3 rest on the sand, and divers can drop onto the wreck from above and swim through the cabin. Hard and soft corals, sponges and sea fans now cover the plane inside and out. Bristle fireworms and feather duster worms live on the hull, and porcupinefish, tobacco fish and snappers are found on the surrounding reef. Nurse sharks and reef sharks are reported passing by.
