Montego Bay Marine Park is Jamaica's first declared Marine Protected Area, covering the reefs and coastal waters around Montego Bay on the island's northwest coast.
Established in 1992, the park protects a reported marine area of about 14.3 km2 stretching from Tropical Beach west to Rum Bottle Bay, and includes the Bogue Island Lagoon. It encompasses more than 15 dive sites close to shore, with visibility reported up to 30 metres. The park's reefs and cavern sites, such as Widowmaker's Cave, support snappers, parrotfish, butterflyfish and stingrays. No sourced centre coordinate for the park boundary was found.
