Tori Pond
Also known as: Toriike · Tori-ike · Toriike Pond · 通り池 (Japanese)
The dive starts outside on the reef and follows a huge tunnel that links the ocean with the two ponds, which are a protected natural monument and scenic spot on land. On the way up, divers pass a visible chemocline and thermocline where fresh and salt water meet, and the water shifts from deep blue to green. Shops describe the arch at around 20 to 24 m with a sandy bottom at roughly 40 m or more that divers never touch, so buoyancy and air planning matter. After surfacing in the pond among sightseers, the group returns to the sea the same way. Giant trevally, dogtooth tuna and turtles are sometimes seen outside the arch.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
