Mini Grotto

Also known as: Mini Tori Pond · Mini Toriike · Mini Tori Ike · ミニグロット (Japanese) · ミニ通り池 (Japanese)

Divers enter a horizontal opening at around 10 m and follow a dark tunnel until blue light from the far end shows the way to the pond, which is ringed by limestone and stalactite formations. Light falling through the opening creates curtains of sunlight, and shops single out the clarity of the water here. The return is through the same tunnel. Lionfish gather at the entrance, and on the sandy stretch called White Road divers look for small fish and macro subjects. Turtles and many nudibranchs are reported in the shallows.
