Ferranelles

Also known as: Les Ferranelles

Ferranelles lies between Meda Petita and Tascó Petit, and El Rei del Mar rates it a very easy dive. Shallow parts host colourful nudibranchs, while a route at about 18 m towards the Tascons passes large boulders covered with gorgonians. Further south a series of three reef bars leads to the area called l'Escrivana, where a gorgonian wall reaches about 35 to 40 m. Groupers, moray eels, scorpionfish, octopus and barracudas are regulars, and eagle rays and sunfish pass by. Les Illes notes that the shallow profile makes currents more noticeable here.
