Pointe Cacau Est
Also known as: Pointe Cacau · Pointe Cacao
Pointe Cacau, which local divers also call Pointe Cacao, lies in a no-take zone near Cassis. Its eastern side is full of fish and colour, with groupers, brown meagre, barracuda, lobster, gorgonians and coral. Two cannons from the Napoleonic wars lie off the point, in line with a fault that divers can swim through. In a strong Mistral the eastern face is the last protected place, so boats from Cassis gather here when other sites are closed.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
