Pierre à Maya

Also known as: La pierre de Maya

Pierre à Maya is a detached rock next to a wall south-west of the Frioul islands, close to Cap Caveaux. The rock is made of two parts and is cut by a fault packed with very large red gorgonians. Divers circle the rock several times while slowly rising, then return to the wall for their stops. Large groupers live here, and sunfish are sometimes seen.
