Le Miquelon

Le Miquelon was a cargo ship that sank in 1917 after a collision and now lies between Maïre island and Cap Caveaux in the roadstead of Marseille. The 49 m hull is well preserved rather than a pile of scrap. The muddy bottom often reduces visibility, and many fishing nets lie around the wreck. Anthias, conger eels and forkbeard are part of the deep wreck fauna, and the dive needs calm weather, a heavy shot line and surface cover.
