Qawra Reef
Also known as: Qawra Drop-Off · Qawra Far Reef
The reef runs out towards the Imperial Eagle wreck and beyond. Its rough wall is full of cracks and holes covered in sponges, and several caves open under the reef, including an L-shaped swim-through. The sandy floor of the caverns lies at about 29 to 33 m, and huge boulders outside may hide groupers. Barracuda and other larger fish are often seen. It can be dived from the shore with a long swim over sharp rocks, or by boat, and is exposed to currents.
