Jackson's Reef and Wall
Also known as: Jackson Reef & Wall · Jackson's Reef · Jackson's Reef & Wall
Jackson's Reef and Wall works as a deep or a shallow dive, typically a tour of the main wall followed by an extended safety stop among the coral heads near the mooring. Friendly French angelfish pose for photographs, and eagle rays, stingrays, yellow stingrays and green and black-and-white morays are frequently seen. The rubble area hides yellowhead jawfish, sand tilefish, sand divers and many juveniles. A barracuda usually hangs beneath the boat and reef sharks are common on the wall. At night octopus, basket stars and orange ball anemones come out.
