Pointe Burgos
The plateau between about 3 and 12 m is covered in barrel sponges and gorgonians and suits divers of every level. Further down, faults and walls lead to a reef mountain whose top is near 30 m and whose base is at about 55 m, and a long sand chute called the ski slope runs out to the tip of the point. Large schools of lippus, porgies, grunts and batfish gather in the faults, and turtles, stingrays, morays and jacks are frequent. Current is often present, which feeds the abundant fish life but can make the dive harder.
