Shark Point

Shark Point lies on the long reef between Twin Pipes and Punta Berrugo off Playa Blanca, a low lava wall with small ledges at about 18 to 20 m. Large shoals of bream and barracuda sit just outside the wall.

The site is in the middle of the reef that links Twin Pipes and Atlantis in the west with Punta Berrugo in the east, just out from Las Lenguas. The low wall has many ledges and small points jutting out from the main reef. Shoals of bream, barracuda and sardines hang just off the wall and let divers come close. In front of the reef lies a wide sandy area where angel sharks usually rest, and groupers, moray eels and lobsters live along the rock.
