Punta Ginés
The reef runs from east to west and is dived as a multilevel site, with the top of the lava at about 12 m and the base near 20 m. Lava has set into shapes that resemble mushrooms, with small caves that shelter much of the life. Because the site is shallow, light reaches the entire seabed and gives the water clear colours. Schools of grunts, sea bream and blacksmiths are common, together with angel sharks, rays, moray eels and barracuda, and anemones and nudibranchs for those who look closely.
