Fausse Passe de l'Île Verte

Also known as: The false channel of the Green island

The relief is varied, with caves, canyons and coral heads on which green and loggerhead turtles often rest. Outgoing currents created by the false passes bring schools of jacks, eagle rays and Napoleon wrasse. Depending on the season, divers meet whitetip and leopard sharks, stingrays, leopard rays and even dugongs. Sud Tourisme lists it among the must-dive spots of the South Province.
