Mpai Bay

Also known as: M'Pay Bay

Mpai Bay is one of the largest bays of Koh Rong Sanloem and holds several dive sites. Its shallow central reef reaches only about 6 to 7 m and is used for try dives and training. Divers can stay on the reef or head out over the sand, where unusual invertebrates live and octopus and squid hunt at night. A fishing boat wreck elsewhere in the bay draws schooling fish. Boats come and go from the village jetty, so divers should always carry and use a delayed surface marker buoy.
