Yokoiso-oki

The site is only two to five minutes by boat from Futo harbour. Hundreds of concrete blocks were once stacked into a pyramid; waves and typhoons have since spread them out, so the structure now resembles a giant climbing frame. Soft corals grow densely on the blocks and turn the reef into an oasis for fish. It is open only from mid-September to mid-May and suits intermediate and more experienced divers.
