Lost City
Lost City lies about three nautical miles off Mahé's east coast near the Ste Anne Marine Park. Canyons and channels cut through long granite benches, and Atoll Divers compares the scenery to ancient ruins. Seyvillas singles out the swim-through at the south end of the site. Large morays, sleeping whitetip reef sharks and glassfish fill the cracks, while turtles, rays and barracuda schools patrol the drop-off. In July and August, during the south-east monsoon, the site can rarely be reached.
