La Blanca
Also known as: Risco La Blanca
The shallower part has a sandy bottom and a dead-end open canyon where divers are surrounded by fish, which makes it usable for beginners. Experienced divers continue into deeper canyons down to roughly 37 m, where the surge can be felt and lobsters hide. Divers describe a labyrinth that winds between rock formations, with animals tucked into cracks and crevices. Eagle rays, large southern stingrays, angel sharks, big triggerfish and many cone shells are reported. Close to the rocks the surge can push a buoyant diver to the surface, so guides advise staying low in the water column.
