Mexican Hat

Also known as: Mexican Line and Cold Water Cave

Mexican Hat lies just beyond Afkule, below steep cliffs, and gets its name from the shape of the hole in the wall. The first part is a small cavern packed with shrimps, which divers enter one at a time with a torch; the shrimps move deeper when the water gets warm. A short swim leads to the second part, a long cave with a sandy floor where cold fresh water mixes with the sea. At its end divers can surface in an air pocket with stalactites. The exit passes a colourful archway.
